As I woke this morning, I realized that Today was November 16th, which means we're just past halfway through November, which also means that we're halfway past "No Shave November". So, when I got to work this morning, I decided to take an informal poll with some co-workers to see if anyone had chucked their razors this month in favor of the "au natural" look. Surprisingly, only a few men were showing some growth, while NONE of the ladies were sporting any additional hair. (Which might be a good thing, because one year my Ex decided to quit shaving for a month, and at the end of the 30 days, I swear I thought I was in a relationship with Fidel Castro!)

Now, before you think that not shaving for a month shows a complete disregard for one's personal grooming habits, just know that it IS for a very worthy cause. As the folks at no-shave.org explain: "The goal of No Shave November is to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free. Donate the money you typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle."

So, go ahead! You still have Two Weeks! It's time to toss away those razors, help raise some money, and let your beautiful NEW hair blow freely in the wind! Or as I like to say: "Dare To Grow Your Hair!"
