Rumors have been swirling on social media that Alabama State Troopers are planning to close the state borders and ramp up patrols along roadways to enforce Governor Kay Ivey's Stay at Home Order.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency issued a press release yesterday in response to those rumors. The ALEA assured Alabamians that it currently does not have plans to close state borders or order additional patrols of roadways in response to the Stay-at-Home order.
