‘American Horror Story’ Season 7 Teases a ‘Freak’-y Face’s Return
One could go a little mad stitching together the various connections of American Horror Story seasons, and the seventh year looks to be no different. Ryan Murphy teases a Freak Show connection waiting in the wings, along with a terrible, terrible comic idea.
Where previously Murphy has used his Instagram for a bevy of creature designs and cast, the latest offers a blast from the past. Murphy shared a monitor image of what appears to be Freak Show’s “Twisty” headlining his own comic. The year isn’t immediately clear from the image, nor is if the character will physically appear (John Carroll Lynch’s ghost version was last seen among Edward Mordrake’s brood):
Elsewhere of Season 7, Carrie Fisher’s daughter Billie Lourd has also joined in a mysterious role, along with Allison Pill, Colton Haynes, comedian Billy Eichner and Popular alum Leslie Grossman. In addition to returning stars Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Cheyenne Jackson and Adina Porter, Season 7 might feature the return of several other characters from American Horror Story: Freak Show, while a separate upcoming season was said to bring together Murder House and Coven characters.
Season 7 will likely offer more concrete announcements soon, so stay tuned for the latest on American Horror Story.
