‘American Horror Story: Cult’ Confirmed as Season 7 Theme
Ryan Murphy didn’t tease the American Horror Story Season 7 theme quite so harshly as Season 6, but our guessing game is over nonetheless. American Horror Story: Cult is confirmed as our seventh, politically-minded chapter, taking place in the aftermath of the 2016 election.
FX revealed the new title and theme with a grand presentation from Comic-Con 2017, in the process setting a September 5 premiere. The announcement also redirects to a website with a brief clown teaser, and an explanation for all those bees.
Elsewhere of Season 7, Carrie Fisher’s daughter Billie Lourd has also joined in a mysterious role, along with Lena Dunham, Allison Pill, Colton Haynes, comedian Billy Eichner and Popular alum Leslie Grossman. In addition to returning stars Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Cheyenne Jackson and Adina Porter, Season 7 might feature the return of several other characters from American Horror Story: Freak Show, while a separate upcoming season was said to bring together Murder House and Coven characters.
Season 7 will reveal further details soon, so stay tuned for the latest on American Horror Story: Cult.
