All I Wanted was Ice Cream on a Hot Day

It's crazy hot outside, almost a long Memorial Day Weekend, start of the summer and I'm in the mood for ice cream! That's all I want, a simple request. But, a big FAIL was in my future!

I felt like a little kid again, thinking of the ice cream truck with this craving for the cool treat. Ah yes, those innocent days of the past where you would go nuts at the first note of the ice cream truck coming down the road. Hurry, get money before it's too late, is exactly what you would think. Running down the street to the truck. What will you have? Strawberry shortcake was always a favorite and normally the go to choice. But, you would get a little crazy at times and try something different, like a rocket or push pop!

Today, coffee toffee bar crunch was in my possession. I sit down at my desk with spoon in hand. SNAP! UGH! spoon broke. Just look at tragic photo below. Now what?

How does that song go? You scream, I scream, we all scream for Ice Cream. Yah, right, we all scream when the spoon breaks. Try that.

Well, I ended up using what was left of the scoop part of the spoon to dig out the ice cream. No way was the handle challenge going to stop the fun. Ha!
