Alan Thicke Pop Star?!…..Yes, Indeed!

With the sad news of the passing of Alan Thicke last night, came the tributes pouring in from many in the entertainment industry today. Everyone remembers him as Jason Seaver in the TV Hit, "Growing Pains". However, what isn't always readily known is the man clearly had many other talents including: Game Show Host, Late-Night Television Talk Show Host, TV Screenwriter, Comedy Writer, Television Producer, Song Writer, and Pop Star! This guy was the TOTAL PACKAGE! If you don't believe me, check out THIS performance from The 1988 National Aerobics Competition, where Alan performs his Original Composition titled: "Sweaty And Hot".

Ok, so maybe that was a bit cheesy, but check out THIS effort. It's a tune that Allan composed as The Theme Song for his short-lived Late Night TV Talk Show called "Thicke Of The Night". I actually think that this one is pretty darn CATCHY! 

They say, "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree"., which is quite true. Because It's clearly easy to see where Alan's Son, Robin, got his musical talent from.

Nice Work, Mr. Thicke.....Rest In Peace.
