Alabama Players Share Photos from Their White House Visit on Social Media
Like many of their predecessors in Tuscaloosa, the Alabama football team got dressed up in suits and ties and took off for the White House on Tuesday.
The 2017 national champions were honored on the south lawn of the White House by President Trump in a short ceremony. The President spoke for a few minutes and recognized some of the guys that played key roles in the win over Georgia before head coach Nick Saban took the podium. As always, the event ended with the President receiving a custom Crimson Tide jersey from the team captains.
Many of the players took advantage of the trip by sharing photos from in and around the White House. Check out some of the ones posted to social media today.
For other players, the trip didn't mean an excused absence from rehab. Alabama's head athletic trainer Jeff Allen went through the recovery process with some of the injured players inside the White House.
