5 Stores That Need to Come to Tuscaloosa in 2020
Tuscaloosa has seen a decade of unprecedented growth, but there is still room for improvement in the City of Champions. These are the five stores that need to come to Tuscaloosa in 2020.
1. Trader Joe's
Tuscaloosa is in DESPERATE need of a Trader Joe's, y'all. Much like Aldi (the parent company of Trader Joe's), everything in the store is privately labeled. That means the food is CHEAP but delicious, something college students and basically anyone with a bank account can appreciate.
2. Ikea
Think about how much business an Ikea would do in Tuscaloosa. UA students would be able to buy their apartment furniture; people would come for MILES to shop at there. It would bring so many visitors to town.
3. Lush
Everyone loves a good bath bomb, and Tuscaloosa is no exception. Why should we have to drive to The Summit in Birmingham to get our Lush fix?
4. Nordstrom Rack
Nordstrom Rack is like a bougie version of TJ Maxx, and I am very much here for it. You can find clothes, makeup, accessories, and home decor for pennies on the dollar.
5. Lidl
How about another German-based bargain grocery chain? Aldi is bomb, but Lidl is coming for their crown with cheap prices on food, kitchen gear, and more.
