The Birmingham Zoo comes alive for 17 nights of holiday fun at ZooLight Safari presented by Wells Fargo! Be amazed by over one million lights, listen to holiday music and delight in festive snowfalls every night! Enjoy a ride on the Candy Cane Train, go for a spin on the Jingle Bell Carousel, experience the thrill of the over 100 foot Yuletide Slide, ride the Santa Rollers and so much more. Take in the beauty of a decorated tree reaching nearly 30 feet tall in Trails of Africa as you dance and boogie to special entertainment each night! Santa will be seated from 5:30-6:30 for photos in the Safari Peak, and will be available for meet and greets the remainder of the night in Trails of Africa.

Galaxy of Lights is a holiday light extravaganza featuring larger-than-life animated light displays. See Santa soaring over a delightful winter village. Nursery rhyme characters dance and frolic among traditional scenes of the season. And, best of all, experience the magic of the twinkling icicle forest. See the Montgomery Zoo transformed into a Winter Wonderland sparkling with thousands of lights and festive decorations. Take a leisurely stroll, a brisk train ride or see the lights from atop the Zoofari Skylift Ride. Visit Santa, enjoy the live nightly entertainment and no winter's night would be complete without some warming hot chocolate and fresh baked cookies. Bellingrath Gardens and Home is celebrating the 21st edition of Magic Christmas in Lights in 2016! The holiday tradition lets guests stroll through a dazzling display, which features more than 1,000 set pieces, 3 million lights and 15 scenes throughout the 65-acre Garden estate. In addition, the Bellingrath Home is decorated in its holiday finery and enhanced with beautiful poinsettias. The event also includes nightly choral performances on the South Terrace of the Home Sundays through Thursdays.

Over 14,000,000 lights illuminate a spectacular walk-through family park with multiple scenes,
Santa Claus, petting zoo and a life-size Nativity scene. They'll also have a fireworks show on Christmas Eve as well as a New Year’s Eve celebration with a concert and a fireworks show.
