24’s Jack Bauer Named Best Action Hero & My TV Isn’t

TV Guide Magazine has posted to their Facebook page a cover shot of the new issue with Jack Bauer in the #1 spot on the list of "TV's Greatest Action Heroes." The character played by Kiefer Sutherland on the FOX's 24 is the central character of the serial drama series. He has a knack for getting out of jams and bringing down the bad guys. In true action hero form, it's comes down to one guy for saving the day.

How fitting for this fan to see this today. Sure, on the heels of what happened last night. I had challenges watching the action with the endless large scroll on the top of the screen listing severe thunderstorm watches and warnings, along with the endless list of every county in Alabama. That's towards the top of the screen, and then in the right hand corner this massive Alabama state map with flashing neon color coding for the same severe thunderstorm watches and warnings. There was so much happening on that screen, it was tough trying to focus on... the show. Keep in mind, I recorded this episode on my satellite DVR. Also, keep in mind, the show builds to a weekly cliff hanger. Well, I'm getting to this cliff hanger with this Russian dude wanting Jack's head. Then, poof! The signal dropped out, show over. NO! Needless to say, I went to bed grumpy last night.
