What Would You Say About This B101.7 Flashback Friday Spotlight?

The song behind the B101.7 our concert ticket contest is in the spotlight this Flashback Friday! Coincidentally, it was recently featured as one of the last performances on the Late Show with David Letterman.

The song is 'What Would You Say,' from Dave Matthews Band!

DMB will be at Tuscaloosa Amphitheater on June 3rd, and all this week we've been giving away more tickets on the air. The game featured a contestant being asked 'What Would You Say?' to a hypothetical scenario. Yeah, a fun play on words from the signature 90s song from DMB.

In a recent round of the game, I gave the scenario that you're walking through a forest and find this suitcase with a million dollars and a note in blood saying "dont." "What Would You Say?" Contestant Jessica said she would just take it home. I questioned whether there would be fear of somebody coming after her for the money? She wasn't afraid of that. Would you be?

All week, I've been using the chorus line form the song, "What Would You Say." It's only an obvious choice for me on this B101.7 Flashback Friday Spotlight to roll out the Dave Matthews Band song. Their first commercial hit song reach the Top 10 in 1996, and remains among the most well known song in the band's large music catalog.

Here's a special twist, Dave Matthews Band recently appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman. The musical guest appearance comes twenty years after the debut appearance. What do they sing? Yep, "Wjat Would You Say," as they prep to kick of their summer tour. Are you excited for this concert to happen in T-Town, or what? Still need tickets?
