What to Expect at the 2015 Druid City Arts Festival
Coming up on Saturday in Government Plaza downtown, it's the sixth annual Druid City Arts Festival or 'DCAF!'
The Director of Communications and Public Relations for Tuscaloosa Tourism and Sports, Brandt Garrison stopped by our studios to share details on this year's event.
Here are the DCAF 2015 highlights:
- Free admission
- Over 90 visual artists (from paintings and photography to handmade home goods, clothing and jewelry)
- Kids area (with various fun activities and inflatables)
- Food and drinks available for purchase (there will also be a beer garden)
- Live music and performances throughout the day
- Share photos using #DCAF2015. The best photos will be judged to win $100!
Performers scheduled, starting at 11am:
- Southview Elementary Drum Ensemble
- The Actor’s Charitable Theatre performing excerpts from “Ring of Fire,”
- Alabama Blues Project; and local artist Matt Jones.
- Debbie Bond and Radiator Rick
