VIDEO: Damien Harris Changes the Game with Blocked Punt
Alabama junior running back's third quarter player changed the momentum against Florida State, but it didn't come with the ball in his hands.
Late in the third quarter with Alabama holding on to a three-point lead, Harris was on the punt team as Florida State got set to kick from its own 25-yard line. When the ball was snapped, Harris went free up the middle to block the punt, which was recovered by the Tide at 6-yard line.
Alabama couldn't convert the turnover to a touchdown, but it tacked on a field goal to take a 13-7 lead and the momentum began shifting. On the next kickoff, Florida State would fumble the punt return and Alabama fell on the ball.
A play later, it was Harris, this time at running back, that took the handoff up the middle and found the endzone for his first touchdown of 2017.
Harris finished the game with 73 yards rushing, which led all players on Saturday night.
