Showtime’s Homeland has an intriguing pattern of reinventing itself year after year, and now has at least two more years to do it. In addition to confirming a January premiere for the New York-set Season 6, Showtime officially announces Homeland has been renewed through Season 8.

Showtime shocked us all with the announcement that ‘Twin Peaks’ would return as a series in 2016 under creator David Lynch, though predictably few details were available just yet. Now, the most burning question about the darkly surreal drama’s return has been answered, confirming Kyle MacLachlan’s reprisal of Dale Cooper.
