"Summertime! Summertime, people!" Sure, Bruce Willis. We can blame this on it being the summertime. The actor hit 'The Late Show' last night to ... honestly, we don't even know, but eventually it devolved into Willis eating corn on the cob harmonica-style and getting absolutely covered in melted butter. It seems that Willis is a huge fan of corn -- can't get enough of it! -- and he was eager to share some corn-centric life hacks with host David Letterman.

James Franco is, to put it diplomatically, a bit of an odd duck. Sure, he's a very talented guy -- and one who has never balked at using his talents across a wide range of professions -- but he's also kind of a weirdo in plenty of situations, especially as they apply to social media. And David Letterman is not having it.

The late-night landscape remains in upheaval, first by David Letterman's decision to retire from the 'Late Show,' followed by Stephen Colbert's ascension to the throne, and finally heir apparent Craig Ferguson's decision to leave the 'Late Late Show.' Controversy has proven to a minimum, but Letterman still stepped up to speak out on Ferguson's departure, while CBS may not yet court a replacement

Last night saw future 'Late Show' host Stephen Colbert dropping by David Letterman's standing regime to preview a bit of his impending takeover, dropping the 'Colbert Report' character for the genuine article. Much as 2014 shook the late night landscape with Jimmy Fallon's ascension to the 'Tonight Show' throne, 2015 will similarly upend the 'Late Show' as 'Colbert Report' host Stephen Colbert takes over for the retiring David Letterman. Colbert himself stopped by Letterman's couch today to talk about the transition, the first footage of which has made its way online!

Following early and decisive rumors, Stephen Colbert will officially leave behind Comedy Central's 'Colbert Report' to ascend the late-night throne as the new host of CBS' 'The Late Show.' Lindsay Lohan hit the 'Late Show With David Letterman' last night, and the pair inevitably prank called Oprah (as one does), a gag that could have gone in a very different reaction if Winfrey wasn't so damn wise. Seriously, don't try to pull the wool over Oprah's eyes. She knows what's up.
