Robert Pattinson Speaks Out on Indiana Jones Rumors
Robert Pattinson has addressed rumors that he is set to take over the role of Indiana Jones in the franchise's next film.
"I don't know why. Why is that coming out?" Pattinson replied on Thursday, June 12, while walking the red carpet for his latest film, 'The Rover.' (Quotes via PEOPLE). "I honestly don't understand what it's all about. Man, I wish!"
While we were skeptical about the rumors from the start, it looks like the former 'Twilight' hunk just confirmed what we all thought -- he won't be donning that famous fedora or cracking that whip in the near future.
Pattinson is also rumored to be taking over another iconic Harrison Ford character -- Han Solo -- for a film centering on the robust 'Star Wars' character. But it looks like this is yet another unfounded rumor, as the actor seemed pretty puzzled about the idea.
"I didn't even know there was a Han Solo spinoff coming out," Pattinson revealed. "Sounds like a cool spinoff. I'll watch it." He'll watch it -- but not star in it.
Sorry to burst your bubble, R. Pattz fans -- but it looks like the actor won't be filling Harrison Ford's shoes in either role any time soon.
