Photos and Results of Campus DJ Battle at UA Student Block Party
Everything came together for a successful first-ever Campus DJ tour stop in Tuscaloosa last night at The Lofts at City Center!
UA students came out for the block party, which featured free pizza, Monster drinks and prizes. Plus, a chance to see 6 local guys, chosen to be finalists by Campus DJ, to battle in front of the crowd!
These DJ's brought their "A" game, showcasing amazing precision and attention to detail in their work. Plus, each of them had unique methods and choices of music, which kept things very interesting and fun!
There was no shortage of talent, as any of them could have won the battle. That's where I come in, as one of the judges with a nearly impossible task of rating each performance. The scoring criteria gave points for originality, technical skill and stage presence. That presence score also took crowd reaction into consideration.
