It may be hard to believe, but Natalie Portman and senior advisor to the president, Jared Kushner, were once classmates at Harvard University. While it's uncertain what kind of relationship the two had in college, Portman isn't a fan of Kushner now.

Appearing on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Thursday (June 14), the actress labeled Kushner as a supervillain, adding that's there's not much funny things to say about "someone you were friends with becoming a supervillain.

Portman also recalled an interview where Kushner compared losing friends because of politics to exfoliating. When Colbert told Portman she was a "dead skin cell" to Kushner, the actress fired back, "Proudly."

The Annihilation star was also asked about Kushner being not "that great of a student" during his time at Harvard, to which she confirmed was correct. "That is true, yes," she said.

Earlier this year, Portman found herself in a bit of controversy when the film Annihilation was hit with claims of whitewashing. According to reports, Portman's character was originally of Asian heritage in the books.

The actress said it was the first time she had heard of the claims but called it problematic. That does sound problematic, but I'm hearing it here first," Portman said. "We need more representation of Asians on film, of Hispanics on film, of blacks on film, women—and particularly women of color—Native Americans...I mean, we just don't have enough representation."
