Jennifer Lawrence’s Plane Makes Emergency Landing After Two Engines Fail
Jennifer Lawrence found herself in the kind of tense situation you'd expect to see in one of her movies.
The Passengers star was a real-life passenger aboard a private plane that had to make an emergency landing in Buffalo this past weekend, her rep told Entertainment Tonight.
It turns out one of the plane's engines failed while over 30,000 feet in the air on Saturday and the second one went out while the aircraft made the emergency landing. The Oscar-winning actress did not suffer any injuries.
Lawrence was flying from her hometown of Louisville, Ky. after having visited family.
The actress has been keeping things low key in recent months. Her only movie this year was Passengers, which received lukewarm reviews. She'll return to theaters in October in the Darren Aronofsky thriller, mother!
