SyFy's new series 'Town of the Living Dead' airs Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. Before you scoff at the idea of another show about zombies, you need to know this: 'Town of the Living Dead' is not your average show. Shot and filmed on location in Jasper, Alabama, the reality series chronicles the journey of a group trying to make their own homegrown zombie flick. It is AMAZING.

Seriously-- it's a series about a crew trying their best to film 'Thr33 Days Dead,' a horror flick, in a small Alabama town. You get to see the myriad mishaps that befall the group of friends (like last week when they shelled out major cash for a pivotal special effects scene only to literally blow it up later); and you get to see the backlash the crew faces from locals who don't want any part of the project-- like an angry mob holding up signs that read "Jasper Needs Jesus Not Zombies."

I'm pretty much over all reality TV shows, but I am making an exception for 'Town of the Living Dead.' It's hysterical. If you don't tune in tonight, you're making a huge mistake.
