Are you looking for a new member of the family, but not quite sure if you can handle a kitten? We’ve got the purrfect girl for you! Let us introduce you to our latest B101.7 Pet of the Week with the Humane Society of West Alabama!

Meet Regina, a female tortoiseshell with beautiful and unusual markings. She is an older and mature cat who is 11 years old. Shelter volunteers say Regina is adjusting well to her new environment at the cat house, and it shouldn't take long for her to get acclimated into your home. I found out quickly she is a sweet and friendly girl, and seems to get along with the other cats in the room. This kitty loves to gives kisses, more so than any other cat I've been around.

Here's her stoyr, Regina was surrendered to the Humane Society along with two other 11 year old cats that originally came from the shelter. This lady is a proud survivor, as she was originally rescued in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina. You know this cat has been through a lot in her life, and she deserves a wonderful home to be cherished in forever.

Regina is negative for FIV and FeLK, current on vaccinations and spayed. If you are interested in giving Regina the forever home she wants and deserves, visit the Humane Society of West Alabama. A couple of ways to reach out, visit the website HumaneSocietyOfWA.org or call 205-554-0011.
