‘How Old Do I Look:’ Let Microsoft’s Crazy Computer Guess Your Age

If you've seen everyone (and their mommas) on social media posting about the #howoldrobot, you're probably wondering a) what's up and b) is this a real robot?

I'm a little bummed to say that it's not an actual robot--in the sense of C3PO or Rosie from The Jetsons--the "How Old Robot" is a cool new feature from Microsoft.

You upload a pic to How Old Do I Look, and the latest and greatest in technology is used to determine your age. I have no idea how any of these fancy pants algorithms or face detection technologies work, but I do know I am a vain person who loves to be complimented... and when that "robot" said I looked 24, I wanted to kiss it on its cold, unfeeling mouth.
