Greg Thomas’ Favorite ‘Pet of the Week’ Photos to Celebrate National Puppy Day

Let me share with you a few of my favorite Pet of the Week photos to celebrate this National Puppy Day! This includes the dog I adopted from the Humane Society of West Alabama!

It really is a highlight to my week, a visit to the shelter to visit the loving pups so eager and excited to spend time with you! Well, that is once they are relaxed to be with you. Dogs will vary in their immediate acceptance of a stranger, once you can show you're not a threat, they will come around. They basically just want attention, and it's fun giving that to them.

If you've been thinking about a new companion in your life, you should talk with one of our Tuscaloosa area pet shelters, like the ones run by the Humane Society of West Alabama! You may be surprised that you may end with a different dog (or cat) than you expected after finding a special connection!

When I go to see our featured pet, the whole thing is a one man show, complete with selfie photos and video. At first, I wasn't sure if it work well, but it appears that it does. Especially with some of the great selfies that come up. If you haven't tried pet selfies, you should.
