Enjoy a Blizzard on this ‘Miracle Treat Day’ and Support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals

It's not your average Thursday in August around Tuscaloosa. No way, it's Miracle Treat Day! This means $1 from every Blizzard sold at Dairy Queen today will benefit the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals!

A shout to Chris from the 69 South Dairy Queen for bringing by my favorite, the Oreo Blizzard! Swing on by that location or the one in Northport and indulge in the goodness for the good of the cause! A win-win situation there. Note: I ate my Oreo Blizzard before thinking that I should take a picture of it for this post. So, what do I do? I get an extra one out of the break room freezer. But, this one is the Chips Ahoy Blizzard. And yes, it was good.

Last year $1250 was raised in the area and nearly $5 million across the United States and America. That's a lot of Blizzards! That's a lot of support for 170 hospitals!

Donations to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals support research and training, purchase equipment, and pay for uncompensated care, all in support of its mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible. I'll raise my spoon up for that!
