Okay, so it may not be a REAL movie, but a girl can dream--right? This CollegeHumor sketch gives us an idea of what a silver-screen adaptation of Lawndale High's monotone maven headed back home for her high school reunion would look like.
The sketch features Aubrey Plaza as a perfectly deadpan Daria Morgendorfer. I have to admit--I'd totally watch this movie. I was a huge fan of the MTV series and watched it throughout my teen years--I even graduated high school the same year as Daria. So yeah, the Class of 2002 does rule.
Can we please make the 'Daria' movie a real thing?
