Just days away from the biggest performance stage imaginable, halftime at the Super Bowl, Coldplay's Chris Martin talks about advice he got from a rock icon.

The audience for the Super Bowl 50 halftime show will more than be the most watched music event of the year, it's expected to break audience records. When your up in front of something like playing at the big game, you want to make sure you deliver in a big way. It can make or break you. Do it right, music and concert tickets sales will skyrocket. So, it doesn't hurt to get tidbits of wisdom from those who've been there, and have been successful. Bruce Springsteen knows a thing or two about "big shows," including one at the big game in 2009.

So, what would be the simple, yet profound advice for Coldplay as they make final preparations for their show?

Chris Martin shared the insight during an interview with CBS Sunday Morning.  Coldplay's lead man gives his best impersonation of "The Boss" as he talked about it:

It’s gotta be muscle memory.  You gotta know every note man, 12 minutes, it ain’t not long, but it’s long enough.

Could that be the recipe for success?

Super Bowl 50 airs in the Tuscaloosa/Birmingham area on WIAT-TV 42, Sunday (February 7th) at 6:30 p.m.
