An E. coli outbreak has caused the Centers for Disease Control to urge the public to avoid all forms romaine lettuce.

To date, over 150 people have fallen ill in 11 different states. As the CDC continues to investigate the source of the outbreak, consumers are advised to not eat or serve any type of romaine lettuce, including whole romaine lettuce, chopped romaine, hearts of romaine, and salad mixes containing romaine lettuce.
