Alabama Affected By Bimbo Bakeries’ Bread Recall

Bimbo Bakeries has issued a voluntary recall for several of its brands in 11 states, including Alabama. The baker produces bread for several well-known brands including Sara Lee, Nature's Harvest, Great Value (Wal-Mart), Kroger, Bimbo, and L'Oven Fresh.

No injuries have been reported at this time; however, the baker issued the voluntary recall after reports of small pieces of glass being found on the outside of bread loaves following a broken light bulb at one of its production facilities.
