11th Annual Canine Classic 5k Saturday at Kentuck Park Northport

It’s not the saying, running is for the dogs, rather it’s the activity of running for the dogs. The Humane Society of West Alabama is proud to roll out its annual Canine Classic 5k run this Saturday September 14th. The start and finish line will be at Kentuck Park in Northport, AL. This is an official Tuscaloosa Track Club Grand Prix race.

Something I always wonder about, just like a listener would ask about… what about a race t-shirt?? I spoke with race coordinator Betty Freeman, and she said, yes! Yes, there is a race shirt for entrants. She even went on to say that it’s a cool race shirt. Nice! Plus, there will be door prizes for participants. Besides, beverages and snacks.

Also, walkers are invited. However, humans only in the race please.

Pre-registration is available at Wagner’s RunWalk in Midtown Village off McFarland Boulevard in Tuscaloosa.
