Daily rain in Tuscaloosa this week has left the city waterlogged and caused the Black Warrior River to rise several feet, leaving Manderson Landing flooded and closed Friday morning.

The benches in the lowest part of the park were submerged to their seats and parts of the Tuscaloosa River Walk were entirely underwater.

Unfortunately, the Druid City has no relief in sight for the immediate future -- forecasts call for more rain Friday and Saturday and some of the storms Saturday afternoon have the potential to be severe.
