Doug Ramsey, Chief Operating Officer of Beyond Meat, was arrested this past weekend at the Arkansas home game against Missouri State. Ramsey, 53, was arrested and charged with terroristic threatening and third-degree battery after an altercation that reportedly saw Ramsey bite the nose of the aggrieved party.

Ramsey, reportedly, punched through the back window of a Subaru who had cut off his Bronco in a parking garage and made contact with his front passenger's side tire.

After the owner of the Subaru exited the vehicle, Ramsey, reportedly, pulled him in close and punched his body and, according to the report, "bit the owner's nose, ripping the flesh on the tip of the nose."

Ramsey threatened to kill the owner of the Subaru and the pair had to be separated by occupants of both vehicles. The COO was arrested at 10:27 p.m. and booked into the Washington County jail. He was released on Sunday.

Ramsey has been in his role with Beyond Meat since December. He spent three decades at Tyson Foods prior to his current position.

Perhaps Ramsey was upset over the Razorbacks narrow win over an FCS school, or perhaps he needed a taste of real meat after being employed with the vegan food manufacturer for nearly a year.
