Winter Weather Causes Travel Issues in West Alabama
Snow continues to fall over portions of Alabama this morning, and the winter weather is causing issues with the morning commute.
ABC 33/40 Chief Meteorologist James Spann says he has received reports of vehicles in ditches in Fayette County after this morning's snowfall.
Roadways are also slick in Lamar, Marion, and Pickens Counties. Drivers are encouraged to use caution when traveling this morning.
Several local schools have either closed or decided to operate on a delayed schedule as a result of the wintry weather.
