The race will likely be decided by a single-digit percentage points based on recent polling, which is why so many people are being encouraged to vote.

This race received added national attention when The Washington Post published sexual misconduct and assault allegations against Moore in November. Eight women have come forward to accuse the former Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, but Moore has denied all of the allegations.
