Weekend Fun Hiking Around Oak Mountain State Park

Somehow, I ended up at Oak Mountain State Park over the Memorial Day weekend and took a few photos from the hiking.

Well, there was plenty of options on the table for the weekend. First, there was talk about seeing family in Panama City. They had plans for a different kind of beach, a lake. Hmm. Next, was the idea of visiting a friend to spend the night and take in a baseball game. In the end, it became a day trip to Pelham, Alabama to Oak Mountain State Park.

There are so many awesome miles of scenic hiking trails through the serene hills. Making it to Peavine Falls is a must!
