In his third year at Alabama, Minkah Fitzpatrick has become the seasoned veteran on the Crimson Tide defense. The defensive back has played and excelled at every position in the secondary as an underclassmen, and he'll be a major part of the defense next season.

The departure of Marlon Humphrey and Eddie Jackson opened some opportunities up in the secondary, and the coaching staff has used the first 14 days of spring camp to find out who might step into those roles. That's resulted in Fitzpatrick working primarily at safety while Anthony Averett and Trevon Diggs manned the cornerback spots.

Nothing is set in stone for Nick Saban's defense so it'll be something to watch on Saturday and into the fall.

After Thursday's final spring practice, Fitzpatrick met with reporters to talk about A-Day and what it's like to play in the game. Check out the video above to hear everything he said.
