The United States Men's National Team didn't catch any breaks when the Group G draw was completed in for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The USA will play Ghana, Portugal, and Germany next summer in Brazil and has to finish first or second in the group to advance.

Jurgen Klinsman's squad arguably has been playing as good as any US side has ever played leading up to a World Cup. The latest FIFA World Rankings find the Yanks ranked 14th, but Group G includes the 2nd, 5th, and 24th ranked teams as well.

ESPN's Soccer Performance Index gives USA a 39.4% chance to advance out of the group, which is fractions behind Portugal's 40.3% chance. The Germans are a clear favorite in the group.

The 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil kicks off June 12 with the USA playing its first game against Ghana on June 16.
