The latest data from the Alabama Department of Public Health shows that the state's confirmed cases of COVID-19 has almost doubled since yesterday morning.

There are now 501 confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus in Alabama, 19 of which are in Tuscaloosa County. Walker County has 18 confirmed cases, and there are seven confirmed cases in Marion County. Pickens and Lamar Counties each have one confirmed case.

Jefferson County has 148 confirmed COVID-19 cases, and Shelby County has now confirmed 52 cases. There are 47 confirmed cases in Lee County and 43 confirmed cases in Madison County.

ADPH has processed 4,082 tests. Alabama reported its first death from COVID-19 yesterday.
