A 16-year-old charged with four crimes tied to a shooting at a Tuscaloosa apartment complex last week was arrested again Friday and accused of firing shots into a home on 29th Avenue.

Captain Kip Hart, the assistant commander of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, said 16-year-old Tavaris Deshon Wilder was arrested last week with two counts of second-degree assault, one count of shooting into an occupied dwelling and one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle after a shooting at High Country Apartments left two women injured.

Wilder was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail after that shooting, but was out on bond on May 8th when investigators believe he ran down 29th Avenue and opened fire on a house in the 2000 block there.

Hart said investigators recovered several shell casings at the scene, interviewed witnesses and found enough evidence to charge Wilder with his second shooting in 10 days.

Wilder was arrested Friday and charged with another count of discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling and booked on a $30,000 bond, but the bonds on the four charges stemming from the April 30th shooting have all been revoked, meaning Wilder will likely remain jailed until his day in court.
