Tuscaloosa Releases Schedule for Fourth of July Celebration on the River

The city of Tuscaloosa has released its schedule for the 9th Annual Fourth of July Celebration on the River.

The annual Independence Day event will be held at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater next Thursday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., when the firework show is scheduled to begin.

The city will also honor area servicemen and women and veterans during a special Military Salute. just before the display.

5:45 p.m. Shuttle service begins
6 p.m. PARA Kids Zone opens, Amphitheater gates open
6 – 6:45 p.m. DJ Chuckie
6:45 p.m. Dive Bombers live performance
7:45 – 8:40 p.m. Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra concert
8:40 p.m. Mayor Maddox’s address and military salute
9 p.m. Fireworks begin
