The Tuscaloosa Public Library will be closing all of its branches through January 5th in an attempt to prevent the spread of the novel Coronavirus and to ensure the health of its employees during the pandemic.

The announcement was made via social media Monday, December 21st. The closure of all TPL branches begins today (Tuesday, December 22). Curbside service will also be suspended; however, the library will not charge late fees for the period during which its branches are shuttered.
