Tuscaloosa Police Trying To Identify Hit & Run Suspect
The Tuscaloosa Police Department needs your help identifying someone in a felony hit and run case where they say the person struck a skateboarder and left the scene.

According to a Facebook post by TPD, someone in a white Audi struck a skateboarder and kept going on April 16.
The post went on to say the 22-year-old victim was struck while legally crossing the crosswalk at University Boulevard and 21st Avenue around 8 p.m. that night. TPD says witnesses said the driver briefly slowed down, but never stopped and kept driving downhill toward Jack Warner Parkway. The victim suffered minor injuries.
The vehicle is said to be a 2012-2018 Audi A6.
The driver's side mirror fell out during the collision, but the mirror housing remained intact. This happened at the downtown intersection near Taco Mama and the federal courthouse. Please call TPD at 205-349-2121 if you can help ID the driver.
