Tuscaloosa Police Seize 9 Pounds of Marijuana, $45,000 from Suspected Trafficker
The Tuscaloosa Police Department charged a Northport man with two counts of trafficking marijuana after seizing 9 pounds of the drug and more than $45,000 cash from him Thursday.
According to a TPD release, the suspect, Bobby Lee Ingram, Jr., was being investigated on suspicion of trafficking and a search of his home and car revealed the cash, the marijuana and two handguns.
Ingram was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a combined bond of $3 million.
A second suspect, David Craig, was also arrested with two pounds of marijuana, $2,500 cash and two more handguns.
Craig was charged with possession with intent to distribute and carrying a handgun without a permit.
He was also placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail, where his bond was set at $35,000. Craig's mugshot was not available Friday afternoon, which may indicate that he has left jail on bond.
