Tuscaloosa Police Seek Winfield Man Filmed Abusing Dogs

The Tuscaloosa Police Department is looking for a suspect believed to have been pictured in a video shared widely on social media last week that showed a man violently abusing several dogs.

A TPD spokesperson said investigators believe the suspect is Blane Austin Colburn, a 21-year-old man who may be staying in Winfield, Alabama.

He is wanted for first-degree animal abuse, a Class-C felony.

Colburn is said to frequent bars in the Tuscaloosa area, and anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call the Tuscaloosa Police Department at 205-349-2121.
