Tuscaloosa Police Arrest 40-Year-Old Man in Connection to Downtown Beating Death

The Tuscaloosa Police arrested Lesley Ray Kelley, 40, on a murder warrant for the beating death of David Milligan early Sunday morning.

Reports say that Kelley was taken into custody in a neighboring county after receiving tips through Crime Stoppers.

Milligan, 27, died after a confrontation near Embassy Suites in downtown Tuscaloosa early Sunday morning. Police responded to a call around 2:30 a.m. and found Milligan unresponsive. Investigators say he had left a bar near Temerson Square and was walking north near the hotel when he was assaulted.
