Tornadoes and Flooding Possible Again Tuesday Night
More severe weather is possible Tuesday night (April 29). Strong to severe storms are in the forecast which are capable of producing tornadoes and/or flooding.
The National Weather Service office in Birmingham has issued a Tornado Watch until 10pm. Meaning, weather conditions are favorable for the development of severe thunderstorms that are capable of producing tornadoes.
The watch area includes these area counties:
Bibb - Fayette - Greene - Hale - Jefferson
Lamer - Pickens - Shelby - Sumter - Tuscaloosa
All of West Alabama is also under Flash Flood Watch through Wednesday morning.
As the weather catchphrase says, "If you see a flooded road don't drown, turn around!"
