The Alt Vault is open, so let's rock.

I am sharing seven throwback tunes for Time Warp Tuesday, which has rapidly become my favorite day of the week. Y'all ready?

Schism/Tool
Did y'all hear that Tool is coming to the BJCC? I even have a chance for you to win tickets to the show on us at 11:45 a.m. every day this week, so... get on it.

National Anthem/ Lana Del Rey
Money is the anthem of success, so put on mascara and your party dress. Fun fact: I love Lana Del Rey. Fight me.

Doll Parts/ Hole

I remember listening to this Hole song as an elementary school badass and thinking it was cool, but the lyrics didn't truly resonate with me until I'd grown up and had my heart broken a few times. When Courtney sings "someday you will ache like I ache," I'm just gutted.

Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Get What I Want
I never get what I want. My life is an active dumpster fire, so it's no wonder my inner goth relates to The Smiths.

Chris Issak/ Lydia Loveless
Since that last song got me in my feelings, I thought I'd stay there with a Lydia Loveless song that's guaranteed to make me cry. *Shameless self promotion: if you like Lydia Loveless and/or all things Alt-Country, Folk, and Americana, check out my specialty show, Front Porch Radio, Sundays 10 a.m. until noon.

Lover I Don't Have To Love/ Bright Eyes
This song is #goals.

Closedown/ The Cure
Did you think you were actually going to make it out of a Meg Summers Time Warp Tuesday post without a Cure song? Think again, friend.
