My hair was literally breaking and falling out until I switched up my product game. If you're dealing with stressed tresses, there may be hope for you yet. Check out the products that saved my ridiculously damaged hair!

I dyed my hair blonde in 2018, and then I dyed it grey. I got tired of how quickly the color faded, and (one night after too much wine) I dyed it red using a drugstore product. I got bored with that and then dyed it blonde AGAIN last summer.

It looked great for awhile, but then my hair just started breaking off. I was heat styling it without any protection, and the damage started to take a toll on my hair.

The ends got stringy, and my fine hair appeared to be even MORE parse. Things were getting dire, so I had all my damaged ends chopped off back in November.

It's been close to a year since then, but I have been very diligent about using the RIGHT products. I think the results think for themselves. My hair is thicker, fuller, and stronger than it's ever been.

I woke up today and was like daaaaang. Dr. Fauci would be disappointed af, as I can't keep my hands out of my hair.

I only use FOUR products on my hair. That's it. I tried so many conditioners, masks, and protein treatments, but this is what worked for me:

Pureology Hydrate Moisturizing Shampoo

This is the ONLY shampoo I will ever use. It cleanses without stripping my hair and is safe for my color, too. There are no sulfates, and it smells like lavender.

Pureology Hydrate Moisturizing Conditioner

I also use Pureology's companion conditioner. It's incredibly nourishing without feeling too heavy, and my hair feels so smooth and healthy after each use. This conditioner smells like peppermint and rosemary, and sometimes I catch myself just huffing the bottle.

Oribe Royal Blowout Heat Styling Spray

I will never, ever be without this product. It's the most recent addition to my haircare routine. I started using it back in May and have seen a huge difference in my hair's health since then. This stuff leaves my hair soft, smooth, and impossibly shiny. Is it expensive? Yes, but a bottle lasts forever.

Oribe Impermeable Anti-Humidity Spray

This is a multitasker. I spray a bit on my dry hair before I use a flat iron or curling iron, and then I give my hair a quick spritz before I go out the door. This spray protects your hair from heat damage and humidity and, like all Oribe products, it smells SO GOOD.x

That's it. Those are the only four products I use on my hair. I try to only wash my hair every other day (maybe every three days). I used to use dry shampoo for those in between days, but lately I haven't needed it.
