The holidays are such a magical time of the year full of traditions that we love. Each year we dig up our favorite Christmas songs to be the soundtrack to the season. I've gathered up my Top 10 songs and the music videos to go with them. Take look and see if your favorites are included.

As I was compiling my list, I've noticed how the most modern of my Top 10 comes from the 90s. That would be Mariah Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas Is You.' That song is also #1 on my list as it continues to be year in and year out the most popular and played song of the season.

The oldest song on my list coming in at #2, is Nat King Cole's 'The Christmas Song.' Guess when that song came out. Try, the 40s. Many have covered that song since, but you can't beat the original masterpiece. The holidays are about traditions and that's one which isn't going away any time soon.

A couple of songs from timeless Christmas specials also make the list. How could you go through this time of year without watching 'Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer'? The Burl Ives tune, 'Holly Jolly Christmas' is the centerpiece of songs featured. Another special which is under rated in my books is 'A Year Without Santa Claus.' In the story line is a battle between the brothers Cold and Heat Miser. You can't help but laugh at their characters and just as amusing song. This makes my honorable mention, just so I can share it with you.
