And the nominees are...

Singer-songwriter Andra Day announced the first batch of 2018 Grammy Awards nominees Tuesday morning (November 28) on CBS This Morning, and unveiled the artists who will go to battle for wins in the General Field categories: Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Album of the Year.

As many predicted would be the case, it looks like Kendrick Lamar — who has previously lost Album of the Year honors to Taylor Swift — will vie for some of the ceremony's biggest prizes against Lorde, Bruno Mars and others.

The remaining nominees in all 84 categories were unveiled via GRAMMY.com — check out the complete list of 2018 Grammy nominations here.

CBS will broadcast the 60th annual ceremony from New York City's Madison Square Garden on January 28, 2018. James Corden will host. Nominations include work released between October 1, 2016 and September 30, 2017.
