B101.7 Flashback Friday spotlight time driven by Townsend Honda. This week, we dig back 18 years ago to January 1997, as an up and coming boy band shot the video to the title track and second release off their debut album.

The song is 'Tearing Up My Hear' by NSYNC. The group featuring a then 15 year-old Justin Timberlake and coincidentally the song peaked at number 15 on the Billboard chart. Plus, it landed the guys three MTV Music Awards nominations. Although they didn't grab any "Moon Man" trophies, they were quickly growing a strong fan base.

In 2007, VH1 listed the song as the 30th greatest song of the 1990s; In 2009, on America's Best Dance Crew, it was given to the Massive Monkees on the VMA Challenge. The song is featured on the group's Greatest Hits.
